HALLELUJAH

Esta semana os alunos do terceiro ao nono ano tiveram um relaxante momento de aprendizado através da música, e desta vez o objeto de estudo foi a canção “Hallelujah”, na maravilhosa voz de Rufus  Wainwright. A canção que foi tema do filme Shrek ficou famosa pela bela letra, envolvente melodia. A música teve versões gravadas em Português e popularizadas pelo país por vários artistas, tais como a cantora Gabriela Rocha.

Os alunos, além de treinarem um pouco mais os ouvidos na atividade de “listening”, tiveram a oportunidade de aprender uma quantidade considerável de vocabulário novo, ao mesmo tempo em que se submeteram a uma relaxante experiência de se entregarem ao som da envolvente canção.

This week the students from the third to the ninth grade had a relaxing learning time through music, and this time the object of study was the song "Hallelujah", through the wonderful voice of Rufus Wainwright. The song that was theme of the movie Shrek became famous for its beautiful lyrics and engaging melody and had versions recorded in Portuguese and made popular throughout the country by various artists, such as the singer Gabriela Rocha.

The students, apart from training a bit more their ears in the listening activity, had the opportunity to learn a considerable amount of new vocabulary at the same time they underwent a relaxing experience while surrendering themselves to the sound of the involving song.
